Allouchery-Perseval
Emilien is working towards organic production creating these powerful wines from his vineyards in Ecueil and Jouy les Reims. Working with the cooperative press in Ecueil he is able to attain superb treatment of his grapes and this certainly reflects in the bottle.
The Extra Brut Tradition is a cracking wine with a powerful Ecueil nose, huge depth on the palate, bracing acidity and lovely bitter orange notes with black forest fruits.
The Brut Reserve, with 3 years more bottle age, has a lovely sweet orange rind note and a touch more sugar to create a more feminine style.
The Brut Millesime 2007 is an epic mouthful of Ecueil with touches of salinity and a noticeable increase in acidity due to a lack of malolactic fermentation on a proportion of their wines.
