Prestige des Sacres

A large cooperative in Janvry with 110 hectares in 40 villages formed in 1961 when 7 producers joined forces.

They produce two distinctly different brands Prestige des Sacres, their main brand using all three grapes, and Ch. de L’Auche, using Pinot Noir and Meunier.

Their wines are simple, fruity and easy to drink. Their prestige cuvee, La Cuvee Boisee, undergoes oak fermentation on it’s Meunier and is layered with notes of butterscotch and honey. The mid palate is quite hollow but it has a very seductive entrance.
