Maurice Delabaye et Fils Rose de Saignee
Salmon pink with orange notes. Brilliant acidity with red fruit notes. Crisp.
Maurice Delabaye et Fils Rose D’assemblage
Deep rose with a blood red core. Blood orange. A surprisingly soft palate with white pepper.
Maurice Delabaye et Fils Millesime
Aged in oak. Sweet vanilla on the nose. Butter and sweet tropical fruits on the palate. Rather simple. Kept together with a reminder of 2008’s acidity. Tangerine.
Maurice Delabaye et Fils Brut Presitge 1er Cru
Toasty nose with a sweet balanced palate. Lemon.

A grower from Damery which has a bizarre weighting to Rose in their portfolio and what a wonderful weighting it is! I am seduced by all of them but was completely taken by their Cuvee Eloise Millesime 2008 Rose with its simple, sweet, butter and biscuit notes and lovely burnt orange hints. Seduction vinified.
Their white wines show good balance across the palate with a toast and butter note and good acidity.
