Pascal Doquet Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru

Lovely light yellow gold. Ripe bananas. Yoghurt vegetal with a fleshy yet almost crisp apple mid-palate. How perplexing! You really notice the extra maturity. Almost hints of tutti fruity and licquorice. Doesn’t quite have the backbone I am expecting. 1/3 in oak. 2003/2002/2001.
