Wonderfully nutty and mature nose. Rich mushroom note. Roasted red pepper. Delicate mousse and lime zest acidic grip on the end palate. Once you throw it around a bit in the palate it loses the mature oxidative note and gleams ’88 glory! Demands food. Nice thick bit of foie gras and brioche. Really dark mid-late palate. Burnt toast with blackcurrant and overripe blackberries.
