Selosse lieux-dits La Cote Faron

Incredible depth on the nose. Deep stewed blackcurrants smothered on toast. Deep rose gold, almost a hint of red. Insane power on the mid to late palate. Very delicate mousse. You are left brutalised by the bitter salty note. There is a linear aspect to this wine around its brutal salinity. This does linger endlessly! The deep blackcurrant note appears, it it’s possible, to grow with air. Textured, never negatively bitter. After a couple of hours a hint of apple is noted with a loss of blackcurrant. After a few more hours sweet toast. Doesn’t quite have the complexity in the mouthfeel of the other lieux-dits.
